With their heavy weight design, Beco Cat Litter Scoops have a unique quality. Unlike most flimsy plastic scoops, the Beco Litter Scoops are strong and durable. The Beco Litter Scoop will last for years in the home, but as soon as it goes to the landfill (and only once it arrives at the landfill) it will start to break down and biodegrade naturally.
Materials:
A BecoScoop is made from 80% bamboo and rice husk fibres. Both materials are ethically sourced as bi-products from other agricultural processes native to China. By manufacturing locally to their material source they significantly reduce their shipping volumes.
Design and Manufacturing:
The remaining 20% is a mixture of natural enzymes to bind the scoop together called Bio-Composite. The Biocomposite is stiff and cleans brilliantly making it the perfect option for a litter scoop. The Litter Scoop hangs conveniently for storage
Every scoop goes through an ethical manufacturing and engineering process to be moulded into an ergonomic shape and coloured using natural dyes.
